Die Beta-Version ist als 90-Tage-Testversion verfügbar. Kernfunktionalität ist das sogenannte “Provisioning”, auch unter Nutzung Web-Passwort-geschützter Telefone. Es ermöglich Nutzer sich an jedem beliebigen IP-Telefon anzumelden. Je nach Zustand der Client-Rechner sperrt oder entsperrt SCUPA die IP-Telefone der Anwender und bietet so Schutz vor unbefugter Nutzung.

The beta version is published as a 90 days evaluation version. Core functionality of SCUPA Business Edition (beta) is the provisioning, even if the phone is protected by a web server password. Users can quickly and easily log onto any desktop IP telephone via a configuration screen. Depending on the status of the client computer, SCUPA locks or unlocks the user’s IP telephones, thus providing protection from unauthorized use.

Das neue SCUPA Release v1.1 ergänzt das kürzlich erschienene Release v1.05 um weitere wichtige Features: SCUPA v1.1 ist sowohl unter 32-bit-Systemen als auch unter 64-bit-Systemen lauffähig. Weiter wurden in der neuen Version Verbesserungen im Installer aufgenommen. Es ist nun direkt möglich eine alte SCUPA Installation mit der neuen Version 1.1 zu aktualisieren
